Huntington Bancshares to Announce 2003 Fourth Quarter and Full Year Earnings and Hold Earnings Conference Call January 16, 2004

    COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Huntington Bancshares
Incorporated (Nasdaq: HBAN) expects to report its fourth quarter earnings on
Friday, January 16, 2004 prior to the market opening.  A news release and

    Huntington's senior management will host an earnings conference call the
same day at 1:00 p.m. EST.  The call may be accessed via a live Internet
