(NYSE: SLR), the world's leading provider of electronics manufacturing and
supply-chain services, today said it has received a commitment for
$500 million of revolving credit facilities.

The sole lead arranger and syndication agent for the credit facilities is
Goldman Sachs Credit Partners L.P.
The company said it has received bank commitments for the facilities and
expects to close on it during the first quarter of calendar 2002.
"This is an important element of a comprehensive plan that meets our
near-term debt obligations and strengthens our capital structure to support
the company's initiatives to deliver long-term, profitable growth," said
Kiran Patel, executive vice president and chief financial officer for
Solectron.
