| Camden Property Trust Declares Dividend for Third Quarter 1997 |
HOUSTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Camden Property Trust (NYSE: CPT)
announced that its Board of Trust Managers has declared a dividend in the
amount of $0.49 per common share for the third quarter of 1997. The dividend
is payable on October 17, 1997 to shareholders of record as of September 30,
1997.
Camden Property Trust owns and operates 101 apartment communities
containing 34,728 units in the Sunbelt and Midwestern markets from Florida to
Arizona. The Company currently has two properties under construction
containing 732 units. Upon completion of these construction properties,
Camden's portfolio will increase to 35,460 units in 103 properties.
