ZHUHAI, China, Jan. 7 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Actions Semiconductor Co.,
Ltd. (Nasdaq: ACTS), one of China's leading fabless semiconductor companies
that provides comprehensive mixed-signal system-on-a-chip (SoC) solutions
for portable consumer electronics, today announced the appointment of
Vincent Lin as Vice President of Marketing.

international marketplace and developing greater brand name visibility

Lin brings over 18 years of marketing and engineering experience in the
semiconductor industry to Actions. Prior to Actions, Lin held a variety of
management positions at Realtek Semiconductor Corporation and its
subsidiary companies, beginning in 2001. From 2005-2007, Lin was General
Manager of Reatlek's subsidiary, Realsil Microelectronics, in Suzhou,
China. Prior to that, he served as General Manager at M-Square Technology
Corporation, another subsidiary for Realtek. Lin also held the positions of
Project Manager of the R&D Center and Head of Marketing in the Consumer
Group Division at Realtek. From 1989 to 1996, Lin worked at the Industrial
Technology Research Institute of Taiwan. Mr. Lin earned a MSEE from
National Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
