Vanjoki to Explore Nokia's Move into the Mobile Services Market and the
Company's Plans for Succeeding in Connecting People Through Play
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice
President of Nokia's Markets division, will delve into how mobile games are
playing a key role in the company's move into the services market in a
keynote address at this year's Game Developers Conference Mobile (GDC
Mobile), being held February 18-19 in San Francisco. Titled "Play with
Anybody Everywhere -- Context, the New Paradigm for Game Play," Vanjoki's
keynote will address how Nokia's N-Gage made-for-mobile games service
brings value for the games industry and how the company plans to accomplish
connecting people through play. With an installed base of millions of
N-Gage compatible Nokia devices, mobile games play a strategic role in the
company's growth in the service market.

Multimedia division, with overall responsibility for the Nokia Nseries
multimedia computer device fleet and Nokia services. Vanjoki is a member of
the Nokia Group Executive Board, a position he's held since 1998.
