The 22-inch Envision G2219w1 and the 19-inch Envision G917w1 meet
Microsoft's strict standards for Vista Premium-certification and are
compatible with current PC and MAC operating systems. The widescreen
displays enhance productivity and maximize screen space by allowing users
to run applications side-by-side, eliminating the need for toggling, and to
view more columns when working with tables and spreadsheets.
Boasting a 1680x1050 and 1440x900 resolution and contrast ratio of
1000:1 and 3000:1, respectively, the G2219w1 and G917w1 deliver remarkable
clarity and lifelike image quality, and the rapid-fire 5-millisecond
response time prevents ghosting and blurring during fast-action programming
or video games. Both models are equipped with DVI with HDCP, allowing them
to display High Definition (HD 720p/1080i) signals.
The slim displays are housed in a glossy piano black cabinet that can
stand alone on a desk top or be easily mounted on a wall, ideal for home
offices and other multi-purpose rooms where space is at a premium.
The G2219w1 and the G917w1 come with a comprehensive factory warranty
and meet the strictest safety and environmental standards, including EPA
Energy Star and ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive)
standards.
Priced at $269.99 and $199.99, respectively, the G2219w1 and the G917w1
will be available through leading national and regional retailers and
select online outlets starting in April 2008.
