WASHINGTON, March 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As critical domestic
policy issues start to take center stage in Congress, thousands of
municipal leaders will gather to discuss how federal policies are affecting
their communities during the National League of Cities' (NLC) Congressional
City Conference in Washington, D.C., March 10-14, at the Washington Hilton
Hotel. NLC will release its Municipal Officials Opinion Survey at a press
conference on March 12, at 11 a.m.
NLC 2007 legislative priorities will be a key focus throughout the
conference and during meetings between local government leaders and their
Members of Congress. Continued federal funding for crucial local programs,

cable local and increased affordable housing coupled with a responsible
