PORTLAND, Ore., March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- 401kExchange has ranked The
Standard as the overall number two fund manager and number four plan
administrator nationally for companies with $1 million to $10 million in
401(k) assets. Rankings are based on interviews with over 20,000 plan
sponsors conducted by 401kExchange from January through December of 2006.
The Standard was also ranked as the number four fund manager and number
three plan administrator nationally for companies with under $1 million in
401(k) assets. Those rankings are based on interviews with almost 15,000
plan sponsors. Invesmart, which was acquired by The Standard in 2006, was
ranked as the number four plan administrator nationally for companies with
$10 million to $100 million in 401(k) assets. Those rankings are based on
interviews with almost 2,500 plan sponsors.
"The Standard has consistently scored high in our ratings over the past
four years which is difficult to accomplish given the very tough
competition in the 401(k) market. With the integration of Invesmart, which
has also scored well, we expect the new entity to be that much stronger and
a force to be reckoned with," said Fred Barstein, President and CEO of
401kExchange.
"It is very gratifying to be consistently recognized as a leading fund
manager and plan administrator by this and other third-party industry
surveys," said Kent Buckles, vice president of Sales, Marketing and
Advisory Services. "Our rankings speak to our commitment to our customers
and the superior service and value that we deliver to them on a daily
basis. We are very excited about our continued growth and success as a
national provider of retirement plan products and services."
