Appointments Add Considerable International, Sales and Marketing and
Operational Experience to Connectid Management Team
NEW YORK, March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Connectid, the mobile,
location-based services company and subsidiary of Liberty Media
Corporation, announced today several executive appointments. Alexander
Eriksen was named Senior Vice President, Europe; Patrice McAree was named
Senior Vice President, Chief Development Officer; Ted Taub was named Senior
Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer; and Barry Wilson was appointed
Senior Vice President, Operations. The newly appointed executives will
report to Connectid's CEO Simon Buckingham.

-- Mr. Eriksen has been a pioneer in the MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network
Operator) industry for more than 15 years. Before joining Connectid,
Alexander was responsible for operations at Disney Mobile UK, where he
designed the system architecture and selected partners to support the
business proposition.
-- Mr. McAree brings to the Company his proven track record in the digital
media and telecom industries with expertise in business development,
strategy and sales management. He previously held the position of Vice
President, Global Business Development at Mobile 365, as well as Senior
Vice President, Corporate Development at News Corporation.
-- Mr. Taub has over 20 years of marketing experience including driving
products through retail channels and directly to consumers in
categories including telecommunications, automotive, credit cards,
beverages and pharmaceuticals. For the eight years prior to joining
Connectid, Mr. Taub held senior national and regional marketing
positions at Sprint PCS.
-- Mr. Wilson brings to Connectid over 30 years of experience in all
aspects of back office and call center operations. Barry has held a
number of senior positions including Managing Director of UPC NL, the
Netherlands-based subsidiary of Liberty Global.
