Parrot breaks new ground to communicate more effectively with millions of
mobile internet users
LAS VEGAS, April 1, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Parrot, a leader in wireless
mobile telephony devices, has announced the launch of a website for mobile
users, mobile.parrot.com . With this mobile version, the main content of
the Parrot website is now just a click away, wherever visitors happen to
be.
With the new site, multimedia mobile phone users can access Parrot
product photos and data sheets, the latest Parrot news, lists of retailers
who carry Parrot products and all the contact information and addresses for
Parrot and its subsidiaries. Also, through a partnership with vpod.tv,
users will have the ability to stream videos and download content in 3GPP
format.
The site has been specially optimized for the latest cell phones, such
as the iPhone(R), Nokia N95, HTC Touch, HTC TyTN II, as well as Internet
tablets and PDAs.
"More and more people are using their mobile phone for Internet access,
whether it's checking email, making purchases, or following their favorite
sports teams," explains Henri Seydoux, CEO and founder of Parrot. "With the
launch of mobile.parrot.com, we are able to move closer to our mobile
customers, giving them the ability to look up Parrot's latest product
information wherever they, whenever they want."
The new site also makes life easier for Parrot representatives and
partners by giving them the ability to access and show demos of all the
products that they are working on, including Parrot Bluetooth(R) digital
photo frames, wireless speakers, hands-free kits and car stereos. The
website conveniently provides Parrot field representatives who are far from
their PCs the ability to easily access information on the entire Parrot
product line directly from their mobile phones.
To access Parrot's mobile site, users will need a cell phone with a
mobile web browser and then simply bookmark the following address:
mobile.parrot.com or m.parrot.com .
