New Service Delivers Local Fandango Theater Listings, Showtimes, Ticketing

SAN FRANCISCO, April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Web 2.0 Expo -- Today Fandango,
the nation's leading moviegoer destination, and Tellme, a Microsoft
subsidiary, announced the addition of voice-activated movie information for
mobile phones. Consumers will be able to simply hold down the 'talk'
button, say a movie title or local theater name, and see showtimes,
purchase tickets and get driving directions to the theater, all from the
phone's screen.

This exclusive Fandango service, using global positioning system (GPS)
technology to deliver local information right to the phone's screen, is
initially available on BlackBerry phones and will rollout on future
versions of Helio Mysto phones.
In the year ahead, moviegoers will be able to obtain a similar service
for their GPS-enabled cars, eliminating the need for typing searches in
vehicles. The new service will give consumers the information, directions
and communication capabilities they need in a faster and safer way.
