New .NET 3.5 Courses Provide Roadmap to MCTS and MCITP Credentials
PHILADELPHIA, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Training Camp, an award-winning
developer and provider of IT training programs, today announced the launch
of a new simplified learning roadmap to help developers achieve Microsoft
certification with three new .NET 3.5 framework courses. The new curriculum
is designed to meet the ongoing credentialing needs of developers against a
backdrop of evolving certifications.
"There's a great deal of confusion surrounding the new Microsoft tracks
and certifications," said Steve Gaudino, CEO of Training Camp. "To meet the
needs of developers, as well as stay on pace with the new MCTS and MCPD
certification tracks, Training Camp has simplified the program into
targeted learning tracks to provide the credentialing that development
professionals need to advance their careers."
The three new courses include:
-- MCTS: ASP.NET 3.5, one of six MCTS .NET 3.5 certification paths, in
which developers can gain certification in just 7 days to distinguish
themselves as experts in ASP.NET application development to pursue
careers as web developers.
-- MCTS: .NET 3.5, where developers achieve expertise using Microsoft
Visual Studio 2008 and the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 in a specific,
real-world job role. With this Accelerated Certification Program,
students can achieve proficiency and certification in just 14 days.
-- MCPD: .NET 3.5, a 3-day program for ASP.NET, Windows Forms and
Enterprise Application Developers to learn how to design, architect and
build interactive, data-driven, multi-tier service-oriented
applications, targeting the Windows Forms platform using the .NET
Framework 3.5, to produce Web applications that use ASP.NET 3.5, and
develop business and data layer applications that use ADO.NET, Web
Services, .NET Remoting, Enterprise Services, and Message Queuing.
"Each course covers the latest .NET Framework 3.5, as well as SQL2005,
in an accelerated format," Gaudino said. "With some new certs coming
online, and others being retired, we are well-positioned to help IT
professionals stay on top of the latest developments and stay current with
their continuing education."
Representatives from Training Camp will be on hand at Booth 1524 at the
Microsoft Tech*Ed North America 2008 Developers conference June 3-6 in
