End Users Select Best of the Best Networked Storage Products
LONG BEACH, Calif., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association of Storage
Networking Professionals (ASNP) and InfoStor Magazine today announced winners
for the jointly sponsored 2005 Most Valuable Product (MVP) Awards Program.
Winners in seven categories were announced during the awards ceremony held on
Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Storage World Conference 2005 at Long Beach
Convention Center in Long Beach, California.
The MVP Awards Program recognizes the "best of the best" of storage
networking products in the industry, as determined by storage end-users. This
prestigious awards program is co-sponsored by two user-focused organizations:
InfoStor Magazine, the leading storage-specific publication for enterprise
storage professionals, and the Association of Storage Networking Professionals
(ASNP), the first worldwide organization dedicated to the needs of storage
networking users. This is the ONLY industry awards program where the winners
are selected exclusively by end-users among InfoStor's 22,800 end-user readers
and ASNP's 2000+ members.
"InfoStor congratulates all of the winners of the 2005 MVP Awards," said
Dave Simpson, Editor-in-Chief of InfoStor. "These awards are unique in that
end users -- both InfoStor's readers and members of the ASNP -- voted to
determine the winners based on their own criteria."
"The MVP Award Program has drawn an enthusiastic response from both the
storage industry and the end user -- to be named a finalist is an honor in
itself," said Daniel Delshad, ASNP Chairman. "We're very pleased to be able to
give the end users a voice in naming the best of the best. Our congratulations
to the winners and finalists, alike."
