Festival will Feature Coffee Tastings and Seminars by Starbucks Coffee
Masters and Live Music from Hear Music Artist Sonya Kitchell
WASHINGTON, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, June 10th, The
Starbucks Coffee Festival brings coffee tasting to the next level on the
grounds of Reston Town Center in Reston, Virginia. The first-ever Starbucks
Coffee Festival will feature over fifteen different coffees from around the
world including coffees from Latin America, Asia/Pacific and Africa/Arabia
regions. Guests can attend seminars and tastings every hour (in one of four
pavilion tents) to learn how geography affects the flavor of the coffee
bean. Starbucks will also provide food pairings chosen to compliment
various coffee flavors and Starbucks Coffee Masters will offer tips on how
to brew the perfect cup of coffee at home.
While participants are sampling some of the world's greatest coffees,
they will be entertained by the music of seventeen-year-old soulful
songstress, Sonya Kitchell, who will perform songs from her debut album
"Words Came Back to Me" at 2pm on the entertainment stage.
The Starbucks Coffee Festival will take place from 11am to 6pm with all
drinks, food and entertainment free and open to the public. "We are excited
