of the Byers Family Extreme Makeover Dream Home, 851 NE Granger Avenue,
Corvallis, Oregon 97330 at 10:30 a.m. The Oregon nonprofit Earth Advantage
the largest third-party verified green building program in the nation
certified the home.
WHO: On hand will be Jenessa (Boey) Byers and her family, the
8-year-old "warrior princess" chosen for ABC's first-ever Extreme Makeover:
Home Edition in Oregon. Jim Chapman, president and Mike Goodrich, vice
president and general manager of Legend Homes Corvallis Communities will
answer questions about how, working with hundreds of volunteers, they
created the 4,000 square foot, Earth Advantage green certified dream home
for the Byers.
INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES: Face to face interviews with the Byers family
and Jim Chapman, president and Mike Goodrich, vice president and general
manager of Legend Homes Corvallis Communities. The home's architect Mark
Stewart may also be available. Hundreds of spectators are expected to be
on-site.
