NEW YORK, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Last spring, Jessica Cutler -- then an
aide for Ohio Senator Mike DeWine -- published a steamy blog about her Beltway
sexcapades. Since then, Cutler has detailed some of her exploits but kept the
identity of her alleged Bush-appointed benefactor secret. She has parlayed
her notoriety into a nude Playboy.com pictorial and a reported six-figure book
deal from Hyperion.
Cutler's nude pictorial goes live today, August 31, in the Playboy Cyber
Club ( http://www.cyber.playboy.com ). Additionally, Cutler speaks to
Playboy.com in an exclusive interview about her wild ways and means in
Washington. Below are selected quotes from her interview:
On her political party affiliation: "I'm registered as a Republican. That
doesn't mean much, though. I'm from New York. New York's different. I'm more
the Giuliani/Pataki style Republican, which basically means you're against
crime. I'm not, you know, 'conservative'."
On naming the Bush appointee she referred to as "F" in The
Washingtonienne: "I am not ever going to name him... I haven't even told my
friends. None of these people were elected officials, so they don't deserve
the scrutiny."
On how "F" came to give her money in hotel rooms: "He told me right up
front, 'I'm married. Don't think we're going to be going out to dinner
together. We can't be seen together.' It was consideration for that. When I
met him I was still interning. He worried about me, that I wasn't able to make
rent, so he asked me if there was anything I needed. That's how he brought it
up."
On the craziest place she's ever had sex: "On the Mall, but that was
before 9/11 and all the security. A lot of people still get away with it. That
was a popular thing to do."
On things people would be most surprised to know about life in the
Beltway: "People like to pretend that money and looks don't matter, but they
do. It's supposed to be a big meritocracy, but people here are just as shallow
as anywhere else. The thing about D.C. is it's not Miami or New York where
there are all these hot people everywhere. I'm cute by New York standards, but
when I came here, my stock just shot up fast. Also, people who have so much to
lose can't help themselves."
On whether her blog and novel are going to be the final nails in the
coffin for attractive young women being interns in Washington: "I hope not. I
don't think so. It might encourage more men to come to Washington, and there's
nothing wrong with that."
