"Since the creation of Heads-Up Challenge, our goal has been to offer a
variety of games that allow players to compete head-to-head," said James
Crawford, President of PokerTek. "For this first initiative, we've stepped
outside of the poker realm, and created a fun and entirely new game for
Heads- Up Challenge that showcases the power and flexibility of this
platform. We're keeping this new game under wraps until the show, but we're
looking forward to unveiling it to our distributors and operators at AMOA
this week."
AMOA attendees will also get to see new enhancements to the flagship
World Series of Poker Texas Hold'em game, including: multi-player bracketed
tournaments, "Add-On's," and more configurable settings, like starting chip
stacks and operator options. These new features allow the game to be
customized to increase player demand. In addition, the Monitor Package
upgrade allows onlookers to follow live game-play by watching an attached
flat screen monitor. And when the game is idle, the monitor displays
eye-catching attract mode graphics and sounds to spark player interest.
This new game and exciting new features can be seen at PokerTek's
Heads-Up Challenge Booth #1010 during the Amusement and Machine Operators
Association (AMOA) Expo, September 10-12, at the Las Vegas Convention
Center.
