portfolios for insurance companies, announced the hiring of Scott Sell, MBA
as Senior Research Analyst. Scott will work with Portfolio Strategists, his
primary responsibility will be private placement research. Scott will join
Prime's Corporate Team, spearheading its private placement initiatives on
behalf of its clients.
Scott comes to Prime with over 28 years of experience in fixed income
investment analysis, selection and trading. Prior to joining Prime, Scott
was a Team Leader and Sr. Investment Analyst with Genworth Financial
(formerly GE Asset Management), where he was responsible for a $3 billion
private placement portfolio. His areas of investment specialization include
domestic and foreign debt issuance for privately-placed and public
corporate investments, real estate investment trusts, credit tenant and
equipment leasing, project financing and U. S. government agencies. He also
held various investment-related positions at the Knights of Columbus for
over 15 years. Prior to that, he was employed by ALLTEL Company as an
analyst in the Treasury Department for 5 years. He holds a B.S. in
Accounting from the University of Akron and an M.B.A. from Cleveland State
University.
