GREENWICH, Conn., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PASSUR Aerospace,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PSSR) announced today that Salt Lake City
International Airport has contracted for PASSUR RightETA(TM), an
information feed of PASSUR Estimated Times of Arrival (ETA's), which will
be incorporated into the airport's information systems.
"Accurate information for our passengers and those meeting them is a
key airport service," said Lisa Oldham, IT Manager for the Salt Lake City
Department of Airports. "PASSUR demonstrated that their product met our
standards."
"We welcome Salt Lake City International Airport into the PASSUR family
of elite airports who insist that their tenants and passengers receive the
most accurate arrival information," said Jim Barry, president and CEO of
PASSUR Aerospace. "Multiple independent studies have demonstrated that the
PASSUR Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) is the most accurate ETA available
-- which is why leading airlines and airports throughout the world use
PASSUR ETA's to power their systems."
RightETA(TM) is one of a suite of information and software subscription
products provided to airports, and has been demonstrated to be the most
accurate ETA available in the market. The PASSUR ETA is derived from
algorithms which are fed by multiple data sources in real time, including
flight position information from the network of PASSUR radar systems
installed throughout the country. It is calculated by tracking multiple
real-time metrics of the target flight as well as other nearby aircraft in
the surrounding airspace, along with current and historic airspace
conditions, resulting in an unmatched predictive capability. There is no
equivalent product on the market today.
