NEW YORK, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyBridge Capital, LLC, which
provides strategic capital to new and early-stage hedge funds, and U
Capital Group, a global special situation value investment partnership,
today jointly announced that SkyBridge Capital has invested in U Capital
Group from its SkyBridge Capital Partners, L.P. and SkyBridge Capital
(Cayman) Ltd. funds.
In addition to providing U Capital's investment team with capital,
SkyBridge Capital will seek to enhance its investment in U Capital by
providing business-building support.
U Capital Group is led by Jonathan Urfrig, Managing Partner and Risk
Management Head. Mr. Urfrig was most recently a Portfolio Manager at Third
Point LLC where he worked from 2002 through 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Urfrig
worked in private equity at Texas Pacific Group and in merchant and
investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He received his M.B.A.
from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a B.S. in
Economics from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania, where
he graduated summa cum laude.
