NEW YORK, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Coming up on VH1 ...
HEAVY METAL SO WRONG IT'S RIGHT
VH1 Premieres "40 Most Awesomely Bad Metal Songs ... Ever"
Thanksgiving Day Thursday November 25 from 9PM-10PM
What's your favorite most awesomely bad 'metal' song of all time? What
heavy metal songs make you shake your head, roll your eyes, laugh, gag or just
want to punch something because they're so horrendously great ... that you
love to hate them (or is it vice versa)? VH1 is counting down the "40 Most
Awesomely Bad Metal Songs ... Ever" in a 2-hour special, hosted by Riki
Rachtman, that will cover the lowest of the lows and the highest of the highs
over the last three decades of awesomely bad heavy metal -the kind of songs
you shouldn't bang your head to ... the kind of songs that maybe don't rock,
but you love them anyway (or not).
Join us on "Turkey Day," Thursday, November 25 from 9:00 p.m.* to
10:00 p.m.*, as we count down some real musical turkeys, celebrate
fantastically cheesy lyrics, the most un-metal of themes, the worst/best
guitar riffs, and of course, those strange, misguided flukes from our favorite
artists. Our team of experts help explain why we've deemed these songs so
(un)worthy. We've been covering our ears, shutting off the radio, and running
from the room screaming for too long.

"Retrosexual The 80s: Hotties"
Retrosexual '80s: Hotties will take a look at the saucy icons who made

bombshell, Chrissy Snow (Suzanne Somers on Three's Company) to the not so
obvious bootylicious animated babe Jessica Rabbit (voiced by Kathleen Turner
in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"). Also featured the premiere of People Magazine's
"Sexiest Man Alive" issue, which switched sexual roles, as men became the
objects for women. Other highlights include: Buff Action Heroes; The
Seductress; MTV Video Hotties; Aging Beauties and Bathing Suit Pin-ups.
