VE85(TM), VeraSun's brand of E85, is a blend of 85 percent ethanol and
15 percent gasoline. Today, ethanol is primarily made from corn, but can be
produced by a variety of other renewable materials. E85 can contribute to
energy independence because it diversifies the source of transportation
fuels beyond petroleum, supports the domestic agriculture industry and it
provides positive environmental benefits in the reduction of greenhouse gas
emissions, while being offered at a competitive price to regular unleaded
gasoline.
There are approximately six million flex-fuel vehicles on the road that
can operate on any combination of E85 and unleaded gasoline. Consumers are
encouraged to refer to their vehicle owner's manual or http://www.e85fuel.com to
determine whether or not their vehicles can accept E85 fuel.
"Sheetz, Inc. is thrilled to have the opportunity to make this biofuel,
VE85(TM), available to our customers at an even greater low price," said
Louie Sheetz, executive vice-president of marketing for Sheetz, Inc.
"VE85(TM) is new to a lot of consumers and we hope that $.85 per gallon
will encourage flex-fuel vehicle owners to try a tank of this renewable
fuel option."
On July 10, 2006, Sheetz, Inc. joined VeraSun Energy Corporation,
General Motors Corporation, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to bring

Governor Edward G. Rendell selected Sheetz, Inc. in October 2006 to
