--Seeking Million Acts Of Goodwill--
ROCKVILLE, Md., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Goodwill(R) is set
for another record-breaking year with more job seekers coming for help than
ever before. With the increase in demand, Goodwill needs more donations to
fund the services it provides. That is why the organization is once again
running the semi-annual Goodwill Sale event, a popular retail trade-in
promotion resulting from the successful collaboration between Goodwill
Industries(R) and The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. The Goodwill Sale generates
millions of pounds of clothing donations, which are sold in more than 2,300
Goodwill retail stores. The revenue generated from these sales goes to job
training programs, employment placement services and other community
programs for people who need it most in local communities.
