The Conference Board To Hold Asia-Pacific HR Week in Hong Kong April 21-23
NEW YORK, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The Conference Board will launch its
Asia-Pacific Human Resources Week 2009 on April 21 with a Talent Management
Masterclass to be followed the next two days with its Asia-Pacific Human
Resources Conference--both in Hong Kong's Cosmopolitan Hotel--on the key
theme of "HR Leadership and Talent Strategies for New Realities."
The program is being presented with assistance from CCH, iHRM, and the
Center for Creative Leadership.
The Masterclass begins with the keynote: "Business Analysis and
Implications for Talent Management and People Management" by Thomas D.
Gorman, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Fortune China magazine and CCI
Asia-Pacific Ltd.
"Keeping Costs in Check" will feature Terry Endsor, Head of Human
Resources, Asia Pacific, Citi, who will address the implications for HR
quality; and Ingrun Alsleben, Chief Financial Officer, Bayer HealthCare
Limited, who will address the CFO perspective.
"Ensuring Excellence in Strategy Implementations" will be discussed by
Brian Walker, Vice President, Human Resources, Walmart; and Warner Krieger,

A panel on "Managing Organization Effectiveness" will feature Stewart

A Senior Executive HR Panel on Building HR as a Strategic Capability
