Who Wants to be a Billionaire? Pharrell Gives Blueprint as New Apparel Collection Debuts

CANTON, Mass., Aug. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- It is well known that
billionaires around the world have one thing in common: a vast amount of
money. However this fall, Pharrell Williams, fashion trendsetter and
internationally acclaimed producer/artist of Neptunes and N.E.R.D, suggests a
different meaning for the term, billionaire. According to Pharrell, to be a
true billionaire, wealth of the heart and mind and not the pocket is
essential. In keeping with this mantra, the music icon debuts "Billionaire
Boys Club," an apparel collection developed under a long-term licensing
agreement between Pharrell and Reebok.
Launching globally in September for the fashion-forward consumer, this
exclusive apparel collection will reflect Pharrell's unique style and "flavor"
and will be available in limited distribution at high-end fashion boutiques.
"I'm excited to be combining my creativity and vision with Reebok," said
Pharrell. "When I set out to create Billionaire Boys Club, my goal was to put
together something for the consumer that is always well dressed but never
loses his individual spirit. Billionaire Boys Club is a collection of sexy,
grown-up apparel for a truly unique lifestyle and state of mind."
The "Billionaire Boys Club" collection is the result of a collaboration
between Pharrell and one of today's hottest global designers, Nigo. Nigo is
best known for his "A Bathing Ape" apparel line. The initial collection of
the brand will include sweatshirts, polos, t-shirts, hoodies and hats. Below
is a list of key products and suggested retail prices.

Billionaire Boys Club full zip hoodie - $170
Billionaire Boys Club sweatshirt - $150
Billionaire Boys Club polo shirt - $120

"The Billionaire Boys Club collection is a true reflection of Pharrell's
attitude, universal appeal and lifestyle," said Todd Krinsky, vice president
of Rbk. "Whatever the context, Pharrell touches today's youth with
authenticity and relevancy."
Known for singing falsetto hooks for rap icons such as Jay-Z and Snoop
Dogg, Pharrell, as one half of the world renowned production team "The
Neptunes," has had success across the board in pop, rock, R&B and hip-hop. A
six-time 2004 Grammy nominee, Pharrell has recorded chart-topping songs such
as Beautiful and Excuse Me Miss and supplied beats for stars such as Justin
Timberlake, P. Diddy and Usher.
Pharrell and his partner Chad Hugo met in high school in Virginia Beach,
Virginia and produced nine top ten hits in only two years. In addition to
being one of the world's most revered producers, Pharrell is a member of the
rock/hip-hop band N.E.R.D., whose debut album In Search Of ... , was one of
the most critically acclaimed records of 2001. N.E.R.D.'s second album Fly Or
Die launched in March 2004.
