Local Participants Will be on the Field at UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX STADIUM
During Pregame and Halftime of Super Bowl XLII
NEW YORK, Jan. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Producers of the SUPER BOWL XLII
PREGAME SHOW and the BRIDGESTONE SUPER BOWL XLII HALFTIME SHOW are offering
area residents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in Super
Bowl XLII which will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona
on Sunday, February 3.
Six hundred local men and women are needed to be part of the crew that
will help run the stages onto the field and perform other duties during the
halftime show featuring TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS, the pregame show and
the performance of the national anthem.
No prior experience is required, but volunteers must attend rehearsals
and be over the age of 18. Interested volunteers may log on to

Volunteers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the shows which will be
televised live on FOX. Watched by nearly 140 million viewers in the U.S.
last year, the Super Bowl is annually the nation's highest-rated TV
program. The game will be broadcast worldwide in more than 230 countries
and territories.
Volunteers will not receive tickets to the game, but will be an
integral part of the shows. They also will remain in a database for the
opportunity to volunteer for future NFL events across the country.
