Guangzhou Global Telecom Reveals Increased Revenues Due to Beijing Olympics

    GUANGZHOU, China, Sept. 8 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Guangzhou Global
Telecom Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GZGT), a mobile phone handset, pre-paid
calling card distributor and provider of value-added mobile services in the
PRC, has released a sales report on its retail turnover during the 2008
Olympic Games. The report showed that sales at its Beijing outlet increased
by nearly 50% in the two months of July and August.

    Sales of mobile equipment and services, including mobile devices,
pre-paid cards, game cards and most significantly, mobile web content, rose
almost 70%. The Olympic Games presented an opportunity for mobile service
and content providers to introduce mobile web surfing to consumers who are
interested in keeping tabs on their favorite athletes during the Games.
Consumers are also educated to increase awareness about how the mobile web
can be used and campaigning by mobile service providers in making this mode
of communications, information access and entertainment appealing to them.
In addition, the sales report includes revenue forecasts for the month of
September and for the 3 months ending 30 September 2008. Projected sales
for September are poised to increase by an incredible figure of around 60%
as compared to the same time last year. A rise in the region of the same
amount is also expected for 3rd Quarter sales from a year earlier.
