    Notes of Interest:
The Olympics (#2) continue to hold the number two spot this week. Also
making this week's list for the first time ever is U.S. Olympic swimming
sensation Michael Phelps (#35), joining Australian swimmer Ian Thorpe (#48),
who re-enters the list. Thorpe first made The Lycos 50 during the week of
Sept. 26, 2000, at number 34. Phelps and Thorpe join other Olympians Amanda
Beard (#12), Amy Acuff (#14) and Carly Patterson (#41).

    Other Notes of Interest:
Also re-entering this week's list is Star Wars 3 (#44), which isn't due
out in theaters until May 19, 2005. Star Wars 3 first made The Lycos 50
during the week of July 31, 2004, when the title for "Star Wars, Episode 3"
was revealed at a comic and sci-fi convention in San Diego. "Revenge of the
Sith" was announced by a man who got up in front of a 6,000-person crowd and
pulled off a baseball jersey to reveal a black T-shirt with the words "Revenge
of the Sith" on it. Meanwhile, searches for adult film star Jenna Jameson
(#5) continue to rise this week, due in part to Jameson's new book, How to
Make Love Like a Porn Star - A Cautionary Tale, which has caused increased
interest in the always popular adult film star.

    Wild About Weight Watchers:
Weight Watchers (#11) saw the biggest rise in search activity this week,
up from number 30 last week, following news that Weight Watchers added its
first major change to its eating plan in more than a decade. Combating the
Atkins Diet (#13) and low-carb mania, Weight Watchers recently launched its
new Core Plan, a list of approved items from every food group that can now be
eaten with almost no regard to portion size.
