The Vegas Games(R) game for Game Boy Color Becomes First Game on Sixth
Platform
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The 3DO Company
(Nasdaq: THDO) announced today that the Vegas Games game for Game Boy Color,
the Company's first title for the leading handheld platform, has shipped to
retail outlets throughout North America and online.
The Vegas Games game features 20 of the hottest casino games available,
including Roulette, Craps with double odds, Baccarat, Keno, Video Keno, Money
Wheel and multiple versions of both Slots and Video Poker. A Progressive
Jackpot in Slots means the more you play, the sweeter your payoff. Vegas-
style graphics, a fun soundtrack and a simple interface will have everyone,
young and old, catching that "Vegas Fever." Up to four players may join in
the fun by taking turns placing their bets.
"Game Boy Color is one of the hottest gaming platforms right now," said
Trip Hawkins, chairman and CEO of The 3DO Company. "We're pleased to be
making the brands that have already been successful on other platforms
available to a growing audience, many of whom are not traditional videogame
players."
