Alliance Gaming to Introduce 32 New Slot Titles at October Gaming Trade Shows

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance Gaming Corp. (Nasdaq: ALLY)
announced today that its Bally Gaming and Systems unit plans to display 32 new
game titles at the two October trade shows in Las Vegas, including new and
updated games featuring well-known licensed titles such as Ray Charles(TM),
Popeye(R), To Tell The Truth(TM), Frankie Avalon and Andy Capp along with
video versions of the popular Betty Boop(TM) and Blondie(R) games.
The industry's largest trade shows provide Bally Gaming and Systems the
proper platform for launching a variety of products, including new video and
reel-spinning games on its Thrillions(R) wide-area progressive system, a
variety of new video titles and a large selection of reel-spinning games.
Global Gaming Expo is set for Oct. 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and
the World Gaming Congress & Expo is set for Oct. 17-19 at the Sands Expo
Center.
"What a difference a year makes," said Robert Miodunski, President and
Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Gaming. "In the last 12 months, we have
made tremendous strides across all areas of our business, but we are
particularly pleased with the improvements we have seen in our game
development and engineering departments. In our business, it all comes down
to the games and we feel we now have the variety across all platforms to
appeal to all segments of the market, both domestically and internationally."
Bally Gaming plans to add to its current list of Thrillions wide-area
progressive products by displaying two new Millionaire 777s(TM) titles, a
Popeye game on the unique new interactive EVO(TM) SLOT platform, a Betty Boop
video game and a Blondie video title. In a first for the gaming industry, the
Betty Boop and Blondie video games are designed to be added to the existing
reel-spinning link. New reel-spinners Betty Boop's World Tour(TM) and
Dagwood's Big Bonus(TM) will also debut at the trade shows.
Building on the strong popularity of Millionaire 777s, the new Tower Of
Power(TM) game will target locations seeking a $25,000 or $100,000 progressive
link contained within a single casino location. This single-casino
progressive strategy will also be used to deploy Betty Boop, Popeye and
Blondie games into markets such as Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Iowa,
Michigan, Colorado and Arizona.
    Two Ray Charles games -- America The Beautiful(TM) and What'd I Pay(TM)
-- will be on display. The America The Beautiful game will feature optional
audio-assist and Braille functions for the visually impaired.
To Tell The Truth, based on the classic game show that first aired in 1956
and is still going strong today, will be presented on the new EVO SLOT
platform that features a 15-inch touch-screen liquid crystal display (LCD)
positioned directly above the reels.
Frankie & Annette's Beach Party(TM), an EVO VIDEO game featuring Frankie
and Annette judging a 1960s beach dance contest, headlines a list of video
titles that also includes Andy Capp, based on the antics of the long-running
comic strip character, Run The Table(TM) and Pays Of Our Lives(TM).
Bally Gaming will also display a variety of new poker games and new
reel-spinning titles such as I Love Jackpots(TM), Super Blazing 7s(TM), Bonus
Frenzy(TM), Bonus Line(TM), Rapid Double Jackpot(TM) and a series of new
five-line games. New V7200 video titles include The Heist(TM), Lone Star(TM)
and Wild Bonus Sevens(TM).
