Company Set to Launch Three New Family Friendly(TM) Titles
LANGHORNE, Pa., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- eGames, Inc. (Nasdaq: EGAM), a
leading publisher and developer of Family Friendly(TM), value-priced computer
software games for players of all ages, today voiced its strong support of
announcements by leading retailers, including Wal-Mart and Kmart, that they
will restrict sales of violent video games to minors under the age of 17.
Jerry Klein, President and CEO of eGames, stated, "We have always focused
on bringing Family-Friendly(TM) software games to the casual gaming
marketplace as reflected by the product content guidelines we established for
all of our products in 1997. Specifically, our guidelines restrict any of the
following content from eGames' products: extreme violence, cursing or foul
language, demonic associations, sexual scenarios, drug or substance abuse,
race, gender or age offensive material and any other clearly objectionable
material."
Mr. Klein continued, "We currently have more than 52 Family-Friendly
titles in retail stores throughout North America, including our most recently
released titles: 3D Creation Station, Fishing and Mini Car Racing. Three
additional games are scheduled for release in September and October, including
Mahjongg Master 3, Casino Jackpot and Pinball.

unveiled our 'Store-In-A-Store program,' which combines non-violent software

installed in a number of national food and drug store chains and are expected

Three New Title Releases
eGames Mahjongg Master 3 is an all new version of the classic solitaire
Chinese game of chance and strategy. Mahjongg Master 3 includes 30 all-new
tile sets, 80 unique board layouts and 150 new backgrounds, as well as four
additional games: Clicks, Rivers, Memory and Slider. Scheduled release date:
September 30, 2000.
eGames Casino Jackpot offers 12 exciting casino games including BlackJack,
Roulette, Video Poker, Craps, Slots and Keno. The games feature 3D table
layouts, casino background noises, dealer voice cues and very detailed
graphics. Scheduled release date: September 30, 2000.
eGames Pinball offers three challenging boards, all with cutting-edge 3D
graphics and realistic sound effects. Features fun, arcade-style graphics and
easy to use controls. Scheduled release date: October 15, 2000.
