Second Annual 'Embrace Life Awards' to Celebrate Inspirational Women - Winners
Receive $10,000 Cash Award, Trip to New York City, and Recognition at Gala
Luncheon
BLOOMINGTON, Ill., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- State Farm(R) Life Insurance
Companies today announces it is accepting nominations for the second annual
Embrace Life Awards honoring women who inspired and persevered after the
deaths of their spouses. To celebrate the achievements and share the "life
lessons" of these women, State Farm will honor five winners with a $10,000
cash award and recognition at the Embrace Life gala luncheon in New York City
on September 15, 2005.
"By sharing these 'life lessons,' we hope to help more families maintain
their ways of life and deal with tragedy if the unexpected happens," says
Susan D. Waring, senior vice president and chief administrative officer of
State Farm Life Insurance Companies. "Unfortunately, fewer than 50 percent of
American adults protect their hopes and dreams for the future with life
insurance(1)."
