HERMITAGE, Pa., April 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Following the recent
success of the F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB) employee Tsunami Relief/American
Red Cross Campaign, this week the Corporation is introducing an annual
initiative that will feature a ten-day employee charitable campaign each
quarter.

"As a Corporation, F.N.B. is a generous donor to various causes in the
communities where we do business," noted Stephen Gurgovits, President and CEO
of F.N.B. Corporation. "This initiative invites our employees to participate
as well, in a manner that maximizes the impact we can have for worthy causes."
Each quarterly campaign will last ten days. All of the funds collected
will be deposited in a designated "F.N.B. Employee Donation Fund" account.
Donors of $5 or more will earn the right to wear denim on a designated casual
day, scheduled for the third Friday of the first month of each quarter.
For the balance of 2005, the Corporation will sponsor campaigns on behalf
of the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and the United
Way. Charities selected must operate local chapters in all of the communities
where F.N.B. has offices.

feeling among our employees while doing something positive for the communities
in which we all live and work," added Gurgovits. "Although the charities are
selected in advance, the monies raised will be distributed to the local
chapters of each charity."
The initiative will include employees of F.N.B. subsidiaries First
National Bank, F.N.B. Wealth Management, First National Insurance Agency, and
Regency Finance Company.
