Table Mountain Casino will be held this Sunday and Monday, October 10th and
11th at the Riverbend Golf Club, attracting several golf professionals and
celebrity guests. Participants in the Table Mountain Chip for Charity have an
opportunity to win a round of golf for four at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Over
the years, this prestigious golf tournament has raised over $500,000 for local
charities.
The Save Mart Shootout attracts some of the world's best PGA Tour and LPGA
Tour players bringing them together for a challenging 18-hole, best ball
format tournament. This year's lineup includes Fred Couples, a 15-time winner
on the PGA tour and PGA Player of the year in both 1991 and 1992 and Peter
Jacobsen, a PGA Tour golf professional and Champions TOUR Rookie 2004 U.S.
Senior Open Champion. Other PGA players include Mike Springer, D.A. Weibring,
Nick Watney, Ricky Barnes, D.A. Points, Billy Mayfair, and Casey Martin. LPGA
players include Natalie Gulbis, Beth Bauer, Carin Koch, Rachel Teske,
Amy Alcot, Suzy Whaley, and Allison Hanna. Celebrity guests include
Marcus Allen, Oakland Raider; Bobby Jones, New York Mets; Daryle Lamonica,
Oakland Raider; Matt Williams, San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks;

for Charity area behind the 18th green during the two-day event, where
$5 donations will be matched with a $10 casino chip good only at Table
Mountain Casino. The Chip for Charity participant to make it closest to the
hole will win a round of golf for four at Pebble Beach Golf Links, ranked the
No. 1 Public Course in America by Golf Digest in 2003 - 2004. The second
closest participant will win $250 in Table Mountain Casino chips and third
closest will win $100 in chips. The Money raised by the Table Mountain Casino
Chip for Charity will be donated to the Sierra High Golf Club.
Located just 15 minutes outside of Fresno on Friant Road, Table Mountain
