Wireless Developers and Carriers Qualify and Market Mobile Java Applications
With Java Powered Seal of Approval

and leading advocate of Java (TM) technology, today highlighted the rapid
adoption of the Java Verified (TM) Program among wireless developers as the
standard for mobile Java application testing. Since the Java Verified
Program's inception eight months ago, the number of tested applications to
qualify for the Java (TM) Powered mark has grown at a rate of 55 percent month
to month.
"Application certification is central to establishing high-caliber mobile

forecasts that by the end of this year, Java-enabled handsets will reach
approximately 579 million worldwide; a 120 percent increase over the 264

hurdles, triple, long and high jump, discus, shot and skeet.
-- InfraWorld - Haunted Treasure action game brings players a thrilling
action game full of fun and adventure.
-- Mediabricks AB - Mediabricks Media Viewer is a customizable application
for provisioning of branded online media to mobile phones in a user friendly,
speedy, rich and live fashion.
-- Mobile Diabetic Inc. - mDiabetic Creator is a mobile diabetes record
management and carbohydrate system.
-- ReqWireless - WebViewer delivers a fast HTML Web browser for any Java
cell phone.
-- Technology@hand Inc. - Shopping At Hand allows users to keep
information about purchases, credit card and bank account names and available
credit and balance.
-- Jsmart Technologies - Players need to save Betty Boop from being
crushed by all the flowers from her admirers by arranging them into bouquets
of three or more.
-- Xtremics - Missile Attack is a fast-paced action game based upon an old
classic, brought up-to-date with awesome graphics and great animation.

The Java Verified Program provides a unified process for cost-effectively
testing and qualifying Java applications. Applications submitted to the Java
Verified Program are qualified against a set of industry defined testing
criteria at authorized testing houses worldwide. By qualifying their
applications, developers can open a huge global market for their products.
